Discover Our Story
At the end of the 18th century, Den Drossaerd was built on the edge of the Warande, commissioned by the last drossaard (Juan de Paramo 1777-1794) of Diest. At that time, the drossaard was the representative of the lord of a city and had to represent him in his absence. Today, Den Drossaerd has been carefully renovated with respect for its historical character and transformed into a charming hotel, where heritage and contemporary comfort come together.
